Giorgos Zervos is a Political Scientist, a graduate of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens – School of Law – Department of Political Sciences and Public Administration, and holder of a master’s degree (Sustainable Development Strategies in Self-Government Program) of the EKPA. He speaks very good English.

He has worked in the private and public sector. He has been an executive of the Development Program Management Organization Unit (MOU SA) since 2002. In his professional activity, he has been the Head of an Administrative Authority for 11 years (at the Ministries of Labour, Health and Development & Investments), head of the Greek Delegation to the European Social Fund Committee (ESF Committee) and Scientific Officer in the “Program of Technical Committees of Prefectures of the Regions of Crete and South Aegean” which concerned the spatial planning for the implementation of the mergers of the Local Authorities. in the framework of the implementation of the “Kapodistrias” Plan.

He has carried out research and studies focusing on issues of human resource development, social cohesion and entrepreneurship, he has published articles in scientific journals and collective volumes, he has been a speaker at conferences in Greece and abroad and he has participated in numerous research and consulting programs.
