Theoni Alampasis is a lawyer, head of the Special Secretariat for Private Debt Management of the Ministry of Finance. of Finance, in which she held the position of Head of the Legal Support Department since its inception. He has many years of experience in the financial sector and in particular in institutional insolvency frameworks, and is a member of the “INSOL/World Bank Group Legislative & Regulatory Colloquium” Committee, for the design and implementation of insolvency frameworks worldwide. He has a long career both in the private sector and in public administration, where he held important positions of responsibility. He is a member of the Board of Directors at the Deposit & Investment Guarantee Fund. In the past, he has been a member of the Board of Directors. of the National Network of Infrastructure, Technology and Research (GRNET) as well as in the “Information Society SA”, while at the same time she held the position of head of the Administrative and Financial Support Directorate of the Single Independent Public Procurement Authority.

He has an active participation in the drafting of legislation (L.4738/2020, support programs for vulnerable debtors, Subsidy Programs Bridge I and II, L.4469/2017, etc.), as well as in law-making committees. He is a graduate of the School of Law and holds a master’s degree in Commercial Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and speaks English, French and Italian.
